This week, some of our class time will be dedicated to college preparations and applications. To that end, I would like you to dedicate this class period to learning more about yourself and your future plans as you progress toward the next phase of your life.
Please spend some time on this site learning about:
*career planning
*preparing and paying for school
*who you are as an independent learner
Write me a short journal (on lined paper) about what you learned from this site and how it might help you as you make decisions for next year. Please keep this journal, as we will use it for another activity later in the week.
When you are done on this site, I encourage you to spend some time researching your future career ambitions and taking note of the various levels of qualifications you will need to pursue these career paths. With any additional time, please plan to read silently.
