Welcome to class! You may chose your own seats for today. Please take a moment to invite a new student to sit near you and make them feel welcome in class if this is your same hour from last semester.
Today you will be taking an ACT practice test for a timed period of 45 minutes. Please do not write on the test; answers belong on the answer sheet provided in the "your answer" column (ignore all other columns). There are some self-analysis questions at the end of the answer sheet. Leave the "list areas for self-improvement" section blank please.
Your homework for the next several days is to read in To Kill a Mockingbird. Part One (ch. 1-11) is due on Monday, 1/27. Please read in this book when you are done with the practice test.
