Updates for this week

Hope you are all safe and healthy at home!
Please read through THIS PRESENTATION for updates and learning opportunities for this week.
I really miss having class together!
If you have not completed the survey from last week, please do so to let me know how you are doing. Also, please check your grade. If you would like to raise your grade, you may do so by turning in any missing assignments (please submit them via google classroom), or making revisions to assignments you lost points on (this applies to most, but not all, assignments from this semester). If you did not complete a Creative Expression in February, please focus on completing one written CE from the current list posted to the right.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!

Hello British literature students!

Hello British Literature students! Here is a letter from me to you:

Starting this week, I will begin posting some great poems/short stories/articles to read that are related to interesting and important topics from our course. These will be optional reading and writing and speaking exercises meant to keep your language skills in tune and to give you some learning opportunities while we are away from school.  HERE are the activities for this week.

Please continue working on your Creative Expressions and submit them as soon as you have completed them, especially if you did not turn in a February CE.

Thinking of you all often and hoping that your break from school is going well.

Daniel Defoe and Historical Fiction

Use THIS DOC to respond to your reading of Defoe's "A Journal of the Plague Year" and to compare it to contemporary historical fiction examples.

Finally, read this article about "The Secret Life of Daniel Defoe" and write a paragraph response about interesting elements of Defoe's life that may have influenced his writing choices.  Write this as your last response on your  "Responses to Restoration pieces google doc" and then submit the doc on google classroom.

Presentation for this week with RLO #6

Use  this presentation  to guide your learning for this week. Congratulations on your graduation!
