Second semester begins with learning about the historical background and context in which Renaissance literature was written.
Today we reviewed the rhetorical triangle and looked at one specific piece, "Give Us Our Daily Bread" article on pp. 260-261, and applied these concepts: purpose, audience, speaker, and context.
Homework is to read and take notes on the historical background section, and begin research on your assigned subtopic.
Notes are due Thursday, as well as subtopic presentations.
