Today, we read silently for 15 minutes.
Next, we read and discussed the remainder of Beowulf, pp. 42-46, together in class.
We talked about this ending in terms of:
1. the use of juxtaposition (opposites)
2. objects of significance
3. aspects and lessons of humanity
If you are doing this on your own, read and take notes on these three categories.
