Victorian historical bkg. Story Creation

To help us really imagine the Victorian time period, with a partner or on your own, you will create a brief story using THIS PLANNING GUIDE that:
  1. involves some elements of mystery or suspense (does not need to be scary)-- go HERE to learn more about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's writing style used in the Sherlock Holmes stories.  Use this info. for mystery writing creative inspiration!
  2. reflects at least two elements of the Victorian time period that you learned about through your historical background reading-- look back over your notes to decide on elements you want to bring into your story
  3. additionally includes:
This is a fun, creative activity, not a stressful one; just enjoy it and do your best!
Use the links to gather more information to make your story interesting and specific to the Victorian times, but feel free to research elsewhere.

Your story should be typed (in a shared document, if working with a partner), and should contain either at least two illustrations of scenes from the story or an additional two elements from the historical background section or #3 above, incorporated into the story.  Story is due by Tuesday, 4/23.
