The Victorian era is marked by the production of some great, imaginative stories that continue to inspire people today. In order to help us evaluate what makes an individual believe a story is great, we first watched and took notes on a TED talk by Andrew Stanton , Pixar writer and filmmaker, entitled "The Clues to a Great Story" (note: we skipped the first minute of this talk as it does not apply to his message).
Then, we read this article to further explore the topic.
Use THIS DOC to help you plan and organize your presentation about what makes a great story!
Example pres. included here: Cora's presentation
You will create a keynote that explains the elements you feel make a great story, with pictures to complement your explanations.
Then, you will deliver this pres. to a small group of classmates on Thursday, 4/27, or Friday, 4/28.
Be prepared to deliver the presentation with minimal words on the slides, so your explanation is what carries through and informs your audience.
