Today, we took a look at the Anglo-Saxon riddles on p. 61, and then tried our hand at writing a few in small groups. It was really fun!
Some basic guidelines: it should be at least five lines, and does not have to rhyme.
Also, we tried creating collages as visual art to represent images given in one of the poems recently studied (Deor, The Seafarer, The Wanderer, or The Ruin). Some used the free app Pic Collage for this. Further instructions are on p. 60, under #5.
