Today, we are reading in Beowulf, pp. 27-35.
In your notes, analyze the defensive argument that Beowulf builds
against Unferth in lines 263-339 (pp. 27-31)
Then, take notes on the timeline and descriptions of the battle
against Grendel on pp. 32-35.
Finally, react to the responses of the people in Hrothgar's kingdom to
Beowulf's victory.
For tomorrow, be prepared to complete a few written responses to what
we have read thus far in Beowulf. Be sure to have your notes and book
with you.
See you tomorrow!
